The LaLiga 2026/27 top scorers' race is already heating up, but one player has managed to create a significant gap at the top of the standings. Raphinha is currently leading the race for the Pichichi award with an impressive 12 goals after the opening seven matchdays.
The Barcelona winger has made a spectacular start to the season and currently sits five goals clear of his closest challengers. Sergio Camello, Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé are all on seven goals and are leading the chase behind the Brazilian.
Raphinha leads the LaLiga scoring charts
Raphinha has been one of the standout performers in LaLiga 2026/27 so far. The Brazilian has scored 12 goals in seven league appearances, putting him firmly at the top of the LaLiga top scorers' table.
His latest standout performance came against Sevilla, when he scored a hat-trick to help Barcelona secure another victory. The result also maintained the Catalan club's perfect start to the league campaign.
With 12 goals already on the board, Raphinha has emerged as the early favourite to win the 2026/27 Pichichi.
Lamine Yamal and Mbappé lead the chasing pack
The closest challengers to Raphinha are a trio of players sitting on seven goals.
Lamine Yamal has continued his excellent form for Barcelona, while Kylian Mbappé remains one of the biggest threats to Raphinha's position at the top of the scoring charts. Sergio Camello has also made an impressive start with Rayo Vallecano.
All three players are currently five goals behind Raphinha, although the season is still in its early stages and the standings can change quickly.
For Mbappé, the race has an added significance. The Real Madrid forward won the Pichichi last season and will be determined to defend his crown.
Zabiri and Roberto Fernández among the surprise names
Just behind the leading trio are Yassir Zabiri and Roberto Fernández, who have both scored six goals.
Their presence near the top of the scoring charts is one of the early surprises of the season. While the likes of Raphinha, Mbappé and Yamal were expected to be among the leading contenders, several players from outside Spain's biggest clubs have also made an immediate impact.
Ante Budimir, Fernando Niño and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have each scored five goals, keeping them within touching distance of the leading group.

Raphinha looking to extend his lead
The eighth matchday represents another opportunity for Raphinha to increase his advantage at the top of the LaLiga scoring charts.
Barcelona will face Getafe, while Real Madrid will take on Villarreal. That means both Raphinha and Mbappé will have the chance to add to their respective goal tallies.
Lamine Yamal will also be looking to stay in touch with his Barcelona teammate, while Camello will try to continue his impressive scoring run with Rayo Vallecano.
Who will win the 2026/27 Pichichi?
It is still far too early to predict the winner of the LaLiga 2026/27 Golden Boot, but Raphinha has certainly made the strongest start.
With 12 goals after seven matchdays, the Brazilian has already established a five-goal cushion over Mbappé, Yamal and Camello. However, with a long season still ahead, that advantage could disappear quickly.
For now, though, Raphinha is the player everyone else has to catch in the race to become LaLiga's top scorer.
