Chelsea claimed a 2-0 Premier League win over Everton thanks to two goals from Pedro Neto. The Portuguese winger opened the scoring just after half-time before sealing the victory in the 90th minute.
The result moves Chelsea temporarily into fourth place in the Premier League table and gives them a much-needed clean sheet. However, the win was overshadowed by a head injury to goalkeeper Emi Martinez, who was taken to hospital after a collision. Young goalkeeper Mike Penders came on to make his Premier League debut.
